Anna and Grahm

I bumped into Anna and Grahm as we stopped for coffee on our route north along the coast from Melbourne to Sydney. Anna and Grahm are a daughter-father team from Kiama, New South Wales. They like to ride as often as possible, but most commonly on Sundays. The tandem they are riding belongs to a friend of theirs, Jeff, and he lets them ride it whenever they like. What impressed me the most about this couple of individuals is that Anna is visually impaired. Thats right, I didn't realize it myself until we struck up a conversation. Their bike benefactor Jeff is the head of a team called eXsight, that enables blind people to enjoy the freedom of cycling by supplying a number of tandems for them to ride. On the day we ran into Anna and Grahm, there were two other blind people out riding with them. It was truly an honor and an inspiration to meet and chat with these two. Keep on riding you guys! And rubber side down!!
